Photographing this wedding felt less like work and more like stepping into a dream. To witness the celebration of two souls who, in some way, have loved each other since childhood was an honor beyond words. My husband officiated the ceremony while I photographed, and our firstborn daughter scattered petals as the flower girl – just, incredibly fun. Our hearts will forever carry such pride and affection for this day. The rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and after party were shining vibrant with youthful joy and centered so squarely on family. Yet what struck me most was how deeply the bride and groom (and every guest really), cared for my family as well. In a season where I am so often the one pouring out, it was a rare and treasured gift to feel personally seen, valued, and cared for beyond the camera.
