Your wedding day is so much more than a timeline of events – it is a gathering of those you hold most dear in life, a fleeting second that holds eternal weight. Wedding photography is not simply about capturing who stood where, but about preserving the visible thoughts as you walked down the aisle, the tears in your lover’s eyes, the delight that spilled into giggles as you celebrated. My hope is that you walk away with images that not only remind you of the facts, but of how the unique moments played out.
It is my intent that your love, your promises, and your story are beautifully seen, honored, and preserved.

OVER THE LAST FOURTEEN YEARS, I HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED WITH DOZENS OF WEDDINGS, EACH WITH ITS OWN RHYTHM AND IDENTITY.
CELEBRATIONS LARGE AND SMALL, NESTLED IN THE HILLS OF THE SOUTHEAST TO DESTINATIONS BEYOND.
PHOTOGRAPHY WITH ME IS NOT SIMPLY ABOUT DOCUMENTING, IT IS ABOUT CREATING AN ARCHIVE OF EMOTIVE RELATIONAL EXPERIENCES – IMAGES THAT WILL REMIND YOU YEARS FROM NOW, NOT SIMPLY WHAT THE DAY LOOKED LIKE, BUT OF WHO WAS THERE AND HOW THEY ADDED TO THE BEAUTY.
“I am deeply inspired by natural light – by the way it spills across skin, lingers in the softness of eye contact, or filters through leaves to cradle a profile with dappled shadow play.
For me, photography resides in a place where elements of nature and human connection meet, where tenderness and knowing intertwine.
I seek to capture not only what is seen, but what is felt: quiet familiar gestures that speak of years of steady commitment, laughter that binds core family memories, ring bearer micro expressions you don’t want to forget, romance that turns ordinary into poetry.
I want all the relational stories told on your most ceremonious day, to be truly as you see them – and through the lens of the love YOU carry.”
-JESS
Several years ago, I realized my craft was ready to evolve – shifting away from formal portraiture and toward a more intimate, story-driven approach. Much like journalism at its best, my work now reflects a lifelong affection for narrative and connection… images that breathe, rather than remain static.
My foundation is rooted in the historic techniques of film – both cinematic filmmaking and traditional film photography. What I learned in collegiate darkrooms, developing and printing hundreds of rolls of film, now mingles with the timeless influences of classic cinema that first awakened my inner artist as a child.
In an age increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence, I feel an even deeper conviction to preserve the necessity of human touch… the irreplaceable, sovereignly designed presence of personhood – in both life and art.
Every wedding and family session I approach uniquely, seeking natural light, toned color, and thoughtful composition to create imagery that stirs the soul. My role is to document all stories entrusted to me, with a seamless balance of candid storytelling and gentle direction – ensuring you and your people always feel both guided and well at ease.
“I am moved by what I cannot plan for or contrive. I must react to it and capture it in real time.”

Yes, though my work is primarily story and detail driven, I do happily recommend a few group or family shots be included in my top packages shot scope.
“Jess doesn’t just capture magic – she fosters it. She kept us on schedule while somehow making time feel unhurried. Everyone was laughing, the bridal party relaxed, while she noticed the tiniest details – the way the light hit the flowers, the subtle smiles, the wind catching my veil. Nothing felt staged, yet she caught everything we didn’t want to forget. There are moments in the photos I didn’t even see on the day, so reliving them feels like experiencing it all again and again – deeply, intimately, and in the most magical way.”
