I could simply go on for days with beautiful shots of the dynamic duo you see here. The cutting/editing room floor from this shoot is littered with gems - may have to do a whole second pass and share a part two! . . Julio + Trin, thank you for being a blast. For dodging cow manure and fire ants to play freely and be all in the moment. The love between you is evident. I pray God blesses and keeps you as you look forward to the big day ahead. I hope when you look back at this moment in time through portraits, you can sense every bit of the joy you carried <3 . .

Because I did ministry alongside her, I know she’s going to minister in the calling of motherhood with gentleness and intentionality, as I’ve seen her lead with so many a time. Also, the hair… it gives main character energy 😍 . . Luke and Cate have always been abundant in evident gifts, both individually and then even the more when they came together. Their reputations proceed them in the best way. It’s distinctive - the kind of unity and clarity of vision they create together as they navigate the sacred work of young parenthood and marriage. They go about their life with both feet planted firmly in righteousness and wisdom. All these characteristics and more show in Apphia already, and will soon show in tiny Archer <3 The four together, have the stunning *shine* that pierces a camera lens. Which is one reason that annual pics turned into an unintended tradition! . . . I deeply enjoy getting to catch them in each phase of their budding family, and to snapshot the gentleness of their hearts… how that permeates their parenting. . . . Love you four! Welcome precious Archer boy 🫶🏼

The spit up, the exhaustion, the sacrifices - all made gloriously beautiful, in time. The trust you give all of yourself to attain as parents - that’s the prize. It’s a special treat to see your people become parents, and I’ll tell ya - they’re daily winning that trust prize with Cass.
